Camera Parking (ANPR)

Core Functionality Camera Parking, or Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), is a hands-free technology that automates the parking process in enclosed garages. By linking your physical license plate to your digital EasyPark account, the infrastructure handles the session lifecycle without any user interaction in the app or at a terminal.

How the Workflow Works

• Entry: As you approach the barrier, a specialized camera scans your license plate. If the plate is active in an EasyPark account with Camera Parking enabled, the barrier lifts and a session starts automatically.

• Active Session: You will receive a push notification confirming that the session has begun. You do not need to set a "timer" or end time.

• Exit: Upon driving to the exit, the camera scans your plate again. The barrier lifts, and the session is automatically stopped based on the exact duration of your stay.

Activation & Requirements To use this feature, the following conditions must be met:

1. Vehicle Registration: The license plate must be correctly added to your EasyPark account.

2. Feature Toggle: You must manually enable "Automatic license plate recognition" under Menu > Vehicles for each specific car.

3. Sync Time: Activation requires at least 15 minutes to synchronize with garage hardware across the network.

4. Network Compatibility: The garage must be an EasyPark partner equipped with ANPR hardware (identifiable by the Camera Icon on the app map).

Critical Rules & Constraints

• Conflict Resolution: A license plate can only have Camera Parking active on one EasyPark account at a time.

• Manual Override: If you take a physical paper ticket at the entrance, the ANPR session will not trigger. You will be forced to pay at the garage machine.

• Plate Visibility: The system requires a clean, undamaged license plate to function. Obstructions like heavy mud or bike racks may cause recognition failure.
