Core Functionality In camera-controlled (ANPR) garages, the entry barrier should lift automatically when the camera identifies a registered license plate with "Camera Parking" enabled. If the barrier remains closed or the session does not appear in the app, the "entry handshake" has failed.
Immediate Resolution Steps
Check Activation Lead-Time: Camera Parking must be enabled in the app at least 15 minutes before entering the garage. If you enabled it while sitting at the barrier, the system may not have synced yet.
Verify Feature Status: Go to Menu (☰) > Camera Parking or Vehicles and confirm the toggle is ON for your specific license plate.
Inspect License Plate: Dirt, snow, or damage can prevent camera recognition. If the plate is unreadable, the session cannot start.
Check for Account Blocks: An outstanding balance or an expired credit card will block new sessions. Verify your payment method in the app.
Manual Ticket: If the barrier does not open and you are sure your settings are correct, take a physical ticket from the machine.
Note: If you take a physical ticket, you must pay at the garage's payment terminal before exiting. The session will not be billed through EasyPark.
Alternative Entry (ParkBee) If you are at a ParkBee location, the barrier does not use cameras. You must manually tap "Open barrier" in the EasyPark app to start the session.
Who to Contact?
Intercom Assistance: If you are stuck at the barrier, press the intercom button on the garage pillar to speak with the local operator.
Support Notification: If the operator opens the barrier for you manually without a ticket, you must contact EasyPark Support to ensure a session is started/stopped correctly to avoid being trapped at the exit later.
Critical Rules & Constraints
Wait for Confirmation: Always wait for the push notification or check the "Active" tab in the app before walking away from your car.
Liability: If the EasyPark session fails to start, the user is responsible for paying the garage operator directly using their local payment systems.
Manual Entry Prohibited: In standard ANPR garages, you cannot manually start a session in the app by typing a zone code; the system must trigger via the camera.
