Core Functionality If a charging session fails to initiate or provide power, the issue is typically either a digital handshake error between the app and the station or a physical hardware fault at the charging pole.
Immediate Resolution Steps
Verify Station ID: Ensure the identification number (often a 6 or 7-digit code) on the station's sticker matches the one selected in the app.
Connection Sequence: * Unplug the cable from both the car and the charger.
Force-close and reopen the EasyPark app.
Plug the cable back in firmly.
Attempt to start the session in the app before the car's connection timeout (usually 60 seconds).
Signal Check: Ensure you have a stable 4G/5G connection. If in an underground garage with no signal, the "Start" command cannot reach the server.
External Interference: Ensure you haven't accidentally authenticated with a physical RFID card or another app, as this will block EasyPark from taking control of the socket.
Hardware Status Indicators Look at the LED lights on the charging station:
Steady Green/Blue: Available or successfully charging.
Flashing Blue/Green: Communicating with the vehicle or app.
Red or Constant Yellow: The station is out of order or experiencing a system fault.
Who to Contact?
App/Account Issues: If the app displays an error message like "Session failed to start" or "Payment declined," contact EasyPark Support at 085-0657180.
Station/Hardware Issues: If the station is physically damaged, showing a red light, or your cable is stuck, you must contact the Charge Point Operator (CPO). Their support number is printed on a sticker directly on the charging pole.
Note: EasyPark does not own the hardware and cannot remotely reset or unlock third-party charging stations.
Critical Rules & Constraints
No Power, No Pay: If the session fails and no electricity is delivered, you will not be billed. If you see a "pending" charge, it is usually a temporary authorization that will be reversed.
Manual Cable Release: If a cable is stuck after a failed session, try locking and unlocking your car doors 3 times; this often triggers a signal for the car to release its lock on the cable.
