Core Functionality EasyPark provides access to an extensive network of over 600,000 charging points across Europe through its partnership with Spirii and Hubject. In the Netherlands alone, the app covers over 150,000 chargers, representing more than 80% of the national infrastructure.
How to Find Charging Points
Map View: Open the app and look for the green lightning bolt or plug icons. These represent stations currently compatible with the EasyPark app.
Station Details: Tap an icon to see:
Real-Time Availability: Whether the sockets are "Available," "Occupied," or "Out of Order."
Technical Specs: Maximum power output (e.g., 11kW, 22kW, or 150kW+) and connector type (Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO).
Tariffs: The price per kWh and any applicable session or idle fees.
Physical Markers: At the station, look for pink EasyPark signs or stickers on the charger itself. These often include the specific Area Code you can enter manually in the search bar.
Network Visibility & Filters
Partner Network: EasyPark only displays stations from its partner Charge Point Operators (CPOs). If a station exists physically but is missing from the map, it is not currently part of the EasyPark roaming network.
Filtering (Update 2026): You can now use the Filter icon on the map to narrow your search by:
Charging Speed: AC (Standard) vs. DC (Fast/Ultra-Fast).
Connector Type: Type 2, CCS, or CHAdeMO.
Why Use EasyPark for Charging?
Unified Interface: You can manage a parking session and a charging session for the same vehicle simultaneously in one screen.
Consolidated Billing: All costs are added to your monthly EasyPark invoice, reducing the need for multiple charging apps or RFID cards.
Cross-Border Access: Use the same app to charge in 20+ countries, including over 90% of the network in Italy and 95% in Denmark.
Critical Rules & Constraints
Parking vs. Charging: In many cities, you must pay for both the electricity (charging session) and the space (parking session). The app will usually prompt you to start both if you are in a paid zone.
Private Accounts Only: In the Netherlands, EV charging via the app is currently optimized for Private Accounts. Business users should verify with their administrator if their specific fleet plan includes charging access
