Core Functionality Verification codes are the primary method for account authentication. They are typically sent via SMS to the mobile number registered to the account. In specific administrative or backup scenarios, a code may be sent via email.
Common Delivery Issues & Solutions
Input Accuracy: * Verify the mobile number is entered correctly.
For Dutch numbers: Ensure the format is
316...(no leading zero, no '+' sign unless prompted).
Network & Signal: * Low cellular signal can prevent SMS delivery.
Toggling Airplane Mode or switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data can refresh the connection.
Device Restrictions: * Check if the mobile provider or device settings (e.g., "Silence Unknown Senders" or "SMS Filtering") are blocking short-code messages.
App Maintenance:
Ensure the EasyPark app is updated to the latest version. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues with current MFA protocols.
Email Latency (Backup Method):
If the code is expected via email, check Spam, Junk, and Promotional folders.
Verify the registered email address is correct in the account settings.
Critical Rules & Constraints
Time Sensitivity: Codes are valid for a limited window (typically 5–10 minutes). If entered after this period, they will be rejected as "Invalid."
Request Limits: Repeatedly requesting a code in a short period (spamming the "Resend" button) can trigger a temporary security block on the phone number.
Manual Overrides: Customer Service cannot manually "tell" a user their code for security reasons. If codes consistently fail, the issue usually resides with the mobile carrier or the device settings.
